anyone know where i can get some really nice ripoffs of those old arcade-stlye plane games with like, tons of powerups, enemies and such? you know, like 1942 and all those more 'high-tech' ones? im in love with those, but cant quite find any. dont post google links please :D

get a mame emulator [URL] and then download some mame roms (kazaa or google). mame plays most arcade games.

yes mame is awesome... but they dont have my die hard game where its 3d like double dragon and u go around beating guys up with like hairspray and lighter machine gun rockets its the best.... if someone can find me that.. ill give u gmail! lol

ive been trying to make one on gasmmaker, and my brain friggin hurts! it took 6 hours, but ive got 8 different planes to choose from, 24 powerups/upgrades, 16 enemies and 5 backgrounds. the hardest part is the damage system, and keeping it all organazized...it'd be easier to just DOWNLOAD ONE!!!

im talking about games that yer goining up, and the enemies are comming down and you shoot each other. i tried downloading mame, but it's just a bunch of files and i can never get what the [:-censored] to do with them, so unless i can get an executable file, aint nothing goin on there. i guess i messed up somewhere on my game, and it's dead. i made a "." where there shouldnt be, and it wouldnt let me change anything, so it's gone :'(
ANY others like these, preferably for PC? the government (not this one, a better one) put something in the tapwater that makes me want to play one of these constantly. or maybe it's just the brownness of the water..anyways...

WTF! I thought Xenon 2 is exactly what you want - you are going up, enemies are going down, sidescroll, arcade, hightech theme, the game is old, classic, run on PC. ??? If Xenon 2 is to complicated, try Xenon [8D]
