How about a command line option that lets people go to windowed mode?

Now that I think about it, me neither. >_< Isn't windowed mode the same as the mode when the FullScreen option is disabled?

You could have a windowed mode and fullscreen mode for Soldat, instead of having to change the settings every time you want to switch between modes...

Open Soldat when it's not in fullscreen, type '0' in the port bar, and type the demo name in the IP address bar. Yey! Demos in windowed mode!

And we all know how often we have to change the modes...

And, DD player already has a windowed option. It actually changes the .ini file.

I can never Alt+Tab properly in fullscreen, so it would be convenient for me.

This is just something to enhance the game function, I don't see why everyone is objecting to it. Plus, this command line is very popular in big popular 3D games.
