im just wondering how much space the database takes up that runs this soldat forum. I know MySQL is extremely efficient with numbers, and pretty efficient with text, but how about the Access DB you use?
my whole stats database is growing, and even with more than 8k players, it is still under a megabyte (table is 75 fields with over 8000 rows)

The soldat forum's run on MS-SQL (access wouldn't be able to handle it), the DB's 194 Mb at the moment. The topics table (excluding arcives) has 4878 records, the replies table (again excluding arcives) has 67607 records.
