I have a simple question, with hopefully an equally as simple answer.

Does the amount of memory increase the performance of a game. Par exemple; I have Simcity 4, and if I were to increase my memory would this speed up the loading of the houses, zooming in and out, and the effects? Or is this to do with the Graphics card?

yes it would increase the speed, but graphics card and processor both have to do with that too
