As suggested by N1nj@ you can now change how you are notified of a new PM.

To enable/disable the new options:

- Go to your page
- Click on edit PM options
- Scroll down to "PM Notification" and make your selection


The forum beta team have been testing it and all seems fine but let me know if you hit any bugs etc.

Styx, you might want to check that beta testing topic again...

We'll see if anyone else notices any oddities in production use.

Try it and see (PM yourself). It's like the little notifications down in the corner you get in MSN, etc.

me likes! it confuses me whit MSN thou. heh, lol, "Soldat Messenger"! the problem is, it appears at least 10-30 seconds after you get a PM (could be my crappy PC, donno)

is your crappy PC, cause for me, right after I PMed myself, it loads, and it pops-up right away =P
