why isnt it possible to change nicks in the forums here? there are so many ppl with old nicks or old clantags in their nicks so im sure they would be glad if they can change that

golden rule: DO NOT use clan tags in your nick at the forum.

well, here is what DNA.styx could do. He can add a optional field in the profile called Nick or In-game Nick, and poeple fill that in, so we will know.

Awesome idea, written in smaller fonts below the nickname.

i like the ingame nick idea but can this forum be customized like this? *looking over to styx*

If every one started changeing nick names it would get very complicated because you would never know who is who, (I think out side the square)

Element_101 is right, it would be VERY confusing.

Not if DNA.styx goes with my idea. Read it, is a few posts above.

And systemfeind: I don't think is that hard to add a optional field. It's been done in other forums, so I think it wound't be that hard...

If you change your nick, you can just do what ninja did (put your new nick in your sig)

YAR! My golden rule: If you constantly change nicks, you need help. I haven't changed anything but my clan tag throughout my Soldat 'career.' My clothes are the same, my taunts are the same, my name is the same. I have no problem with it, I don't see why others do. =\

I like Spyder's idea. It would be very nice to have. Three additional fields: In-Game Name, Primary Weapon, and Secondary. Saves some signature space don't you think? It could be layed out like this...

I would just use the sig method

yes my nick is a german word but if you call it systemfiend its nearly the same meaning =)

this is my first nick i ever had and i own iz since ca. 7 years. i asked for nickchanging only by my curiosity ^^

i dont like the sig method, the nick-in-game option sounds cool

on other forums, ive seen that you use a special nickname for the display name*, and the username to address yourself and send messages.
