dunno if or not it was suggested before, i can say that playing an old school chiptune would be a great feature for registering soldat. there are many plugins to play the format like NSF, SPC, GYM, HES, OPX, GBS and the SID, and would be more type of files around. so it's not so difficult maybe. some of old school game music really glitter even now and i'm a fan of them. i lately favor Reyn Ouwehand, who is a dutch composer and has made much SID tunes in 80's-90's. i think they match soldat.

hmmm I'd rather like to have a Midi support so I could play the Doom Soundtrack over and over. But you know what? I don't even use the in-game feature because it's much easier to have Winamp open at all times.

It would be cool if I had any music in any of those formats :D

i do the same. btw music format of soldat is "it", which is maybe mostly used for demo and tracker scene. it's close to what i mean somewhat. nobody else usually uses such a kind of format. so i thought there's some hope about this as long as the regsiter feature is to play mp3 songs...

Bloody Soil is in the XM format, which is also a tracker file (not a SPYWARE type tracker...) And obviously they are quite small, much like the chiptunes, another reason to use these file types.
