Weapon changes in 1.2 fix?

Ok, I haven't played Soldat in a LONG time. Ever since the 1.2 fix came out and some sort of crash. Now I reinsatlled it, some mods and stuff, just to find out it doesn't work online w/ mods. Wth? Even a mod I made myself, that worked before the fix, doesn't work because the weapons are too big. What is this? Some sort of new limit? Also I think I remember that custom POA's cant be used anymore online?? Is there a way to bypass this stuff?

Every .bmp file (even if it isnt used by soldat) in the folder soldat/weapons-gfx has to be smaller the 1kb exept m2-stat.bmp.

I dont know much about the changing animations.

Thats the thing, I KNOW that my mod should work because all images are under 1KB (actually, I think the limit is 960 bytes, either way, I've got it under that too) and it worked on 1.2, but now it won't on the fix...

Start soldat a few times then it might work again.

Doesn't work...

And here's a little something to crap things up even more:

If I move the original weapon bitmaps somewhere, and put in the ones of my mod, it works. However, when using the Mod Changer, which should be doing the exact same thing, it doesn't work. Wth...

just goes to show, the only way to get it done right is to do it yourself. : /
