know they are TRUE rpg's. You actually PLAY a Role. You dont say "Noob I pwn you" or other gay things in it. Illarion has an on going story meaning, it NEVER gets boring. Somethign is ALWAYS happening.

zzz a gave without pking is no fun...u mean to tell you can roleplay when people pked other people back then. DC wasnt just pking it was already tradeskills and "roleplaying" for those who chose to do so.

Roleplaying isn't raising skills? When Actoors roleplay do they run about stage making trying to raise skills? Roleplay is simply definable by the word itself. You play a role, mostly logically. Saying "I pwn you are potion making" isn't roleplaying. I dont think a druid would be walking around saying that.
Roleplay, is like a play, the stage is the game, and the chars are the actors.

Gaining experience doesn't mean ROLEPLAY...playing a role means roleplay.
Runescape, Tibia, all those are called, MUDS Multi User Dungeons. the main point is to get experience and lvl up. True RPG's Are not

runescape - just horrible
mu - idiotic game with all of the hacked servers that ruined it (not to mention cheaters)
tibia - good game :> currently lvl 76 w00t!
yea i know none of those are actually RPG's but.. their gameplay is fun.
btw if you dismiss all games that <eough> .. actually have a goal .. <cough>, why not just going into mIRC ? that's the perfect RPG for you isnt it ?

No because as I mentioned...
Illarion and Tildruin are real rpg's that have a fighting system and many skills. Plus it has more Powergaming restrictions, but less TECHNICAL restrictions
