I wanted it to be an instagib weapon, yes, but that doesnt mean that I never said anything else about it.

I also suggested lowering the amount of bullets per clip to 5, making a 5 second wait between shots, extending the reload speed to 20 seconds, and removing the scope and the sniper line. I even suggested bringing back the old aiming problems from pre 1.2c/d, when the barret couldnt shoot accurately towards the down left or upper right angles.

Does that look unbalanced to you? And besides, if Michal actually read my posts, he wouldnt have left the barret this powerful, because I stated these nerfs in every balance post I made.
