As my other topic got closed, I'll make a new one.[^]
Since I ranted about the cosmetic changes only, does it benefit me the other way round? Meaning if I mod my game, can I play normally with people who don't use Mods? Since everyone uses the game through their own "glasses", wouldn't it be only fitting?

Yes, you can use mods online, as long as they don't modify animations or use very large images.

I've noticed that MODs are always determined by the server. I assume there is no way to set it up so you appear with YOUR active MOD?

The MODs are not determined by the server, you can use whichever mod you like. The server checks the size of the images in the mods and check if there are any edited animation.

The mod you used can be only seen by yourself, other people in the server will just see their own mod.

Hope that make sense =\

Like with my Futuristic mod, if you go online, I'll see all the funky laser colours and stuff, but they'll just see normal bullets.

yea. mods are only client side, so dont ask if people online see yer mod or not. it makes you look lame.
