Rar, me and flab from SaD have hired a 100mbit server based in the UK which gives REALLY nice pings to europeans. (Most ukers can get a 0-33 ping)
If you wanna borrow it for a clanwar, speak to an op in #britisharmy or #fragbait on QuakeNet, Admins will be given to trusted people.
Server details:
IP:: bad.sexypenguins.com
port: 23095
pass: tehwibble
max players: 16 (Will be changed to 12 when the server reboots, so 5v5 and 2 specs)
Cheating = Perma ban.
Camping being lame etc, (after warnings) = Week's ban

Some ping tests:
UK: Normally from 0-30 ping, cept if you have 56k
Europe: 16-80 rarely more than 100.
USA: ~150-180
Israeli 100-130

Heh, I'm really impressed with this server, and people who had problems with the selfkill ones dont seem to have the same problems (if that makes sense -.- )
Anyway, all feel free to play on it, and use it for cw's as long as Hektik or I (if we aint here, a SaD or BA member) know about it

I guess im the rare one with a ping 100-115, but i get that almost everywhere.

I think the people who get the best pings are obviously the UK'ers. The other europeans tend to get ok'ish, i've seen some with 33, ranging up to 166 (polish at the high end). The Israeli's ive seen play tend to get pings around 150-166 which i suppose isnt bad for them. Finally the North Americans I've seen in there generally got 166-183 (although woodeh got a solid 100).

haha I just played there 2 seconds ago, and it was 3 vs 1(I was alone), two players were shooting everywhere with LAWs and the other one was minigun surfing :P(and camping)

I get better ping on the selfkill ones.. but still.. very nice. Reminds me of the old days on styx' server..
