Ok well I have gotten Comcast Digital Cable Internet and I found out about Soldat and was relentless to play since I had fast internet yet whenever I play I have a ping of 1000! or less. Has anyone else out there had this problem and knows how to fix it? or what I should do?

Either turn off some programs, or play on better servers

Ask a few other peeps that has the same isp near u and check what their pings are, sometimes, the isp has poor structure on their switches etc, in which case ure better off complaining to them.
I had a rather warpy ping in spite of my theoretical 3 ping i had anywhere between 16-3000, after massive complaints, it is now solved.
