You could say they are ghosts then, but then in the mirror it just looks like a human. I mean, yes, it looks like this "guy" found this ruin, watched it, then found the tower, went up on it, saw this "creature" in the mirror, took a picture of it, and ran away - while taking pictures all the time. I ask you, wich normal human being would take pictures all the time while running away from a monster? I would more likely run like hell, and couldn't think of taking pictures..
