ok, using the search function ive found a couple of posts about people having the same problems, and ive tried all the fixes ive seen (including the list of fixes in the FAQ) and i still get a black screen after i select a game (only sounds and music) has anybody found another way to stop this from happening?

Do you also have an ATi Rage video card. Cause if you do, it seems like your just simply out of luck and you have to get a new vid card, or play this game on another machine.

game was working fine up untill a couple days ago, did system reqs change in that time?
