I've been making little mods for my own use, and I've been wondering if my work is any good, so I made this one weapon mod to see if I should post other full mods here.

I remade the Barett to look like the sniper rifle from the game Unreal Tournament 2004. Please post your opinion as to whether or not I'm good enough to post full mods here.

As much as I dislike one weapon mods (and I know you're just using that as an example..no worries [:D]), I say go for it! Looks better than some of the stuff that's already been posted, so work hard and post something you can be proud of.

Mine's Better!!! JK...good job I like it. If your thinking about making a UT mod, U have some stiff competion. Do a search for the other ones out there and see if you're up to scratch.

Wow.... reading those last posts just made me lose all confidence in the human race as a whole....

indeed. paint is actually the best program for modding soldat, IMO. even if there isnt no fancy shading tools and whatnot, there's still X6 zoom and all the same colors as there is in photoshop.

....unless i'm mistaken you can go up to 8x zoom

Fireworks MX is better. It's more flexible when working with pixelated images.

Meh I use Adobe Photoshop CS, pwns all :P.

yea, but 6X is better for modding in soldat. it's not too far nor too close. 8X doesnt allow you to get a good image of what it it, and 2X and 1X are far too small to see. 6X is perfect.

dark leo: lets see how good of a weapon skin you can make. make the barrett a dragunov, and we'll see.

I always use 8x.
