hum... worst thing here in germany was a group of guys from Turkey who wanted to mess with me in front of the gym (i was about to go to my karate class). They were 3. I was alone. I just told them that there were 20 more of my kind inside the gym and that they could follow me if they wanted :) But was never harmed in any way... Germany seems to be extremely safe :)

I've always wondered it 'cause when I went to Viaborg, the only houses that were in good condition were rich ppl's houses(and there weren't many of those). Why doesn't government do anything in front of the bad infrastucture?

That wooden house you posted, we have them many in certain city areas. Even my brother had this apartment in one of those old houses.
But in inside it looked very cool. And the ugly pics you posted... The backyards, abandoned places/houses and those graffitis on the wall.
Really reminds me of Estonia when Russian troops were leaving. This place was a dump.
Oh and those bums sitting their..hehe, theres alot of bums (mainly russians) in these small russian villages near Russian border.

I don't really like cities, but St. Petersburg looks pretty nice, especially when comparing it to Toronto, which is probably the 2nd worst city I've ever seen (Hamilton is the worst). One of my favorite cities is Gdansk in Poland it's really nice, there's alot of walkway, nice old buildings, and no cars at some parts.

St. Petersburg was built by Peter the Great. It had baroque architecture and actually held the position of being the most modern city at one time. Of course, being in Eastern Europe, it was quickly surpassed by the enlightment in Western Europe. Anyway it still has beautiful parts.

But Chicago is still the best city ever. Diverse culture that get's along. Plus the Sear's Tower.

Russia looks like one of those places that are only good if you have alot of money... :/
