this would be very good, i could find lots of uses for this button. the main reason i would like it is because it would make it alot easier to switch guns for my control system ;)

maybe you have a USB mouse but you use a ps/2 convertor to plug it into the ps/2 port? my middle mouse button didn't work before because of that..

nah im using a ps/2 mouse. don know why it doesnt work. ill try it again...

are you trying the click action or roll action? it might get confused and think you want it to enslave mankind

What mouse is it? Get the drivers and assign the wheel click to a keyboard button.

Does it work even in windows?

I cant say im a fan of the wheely mouse in soldat anyway, its just easier to press q

both the middle button (reload) and the wheel (change to secondary) works for me.

i had it that was from the first day i had it... doh

btw my buttons are a,s,d, (left crouch right), w,r (jump reload) x,c (prone team chat) y (chat) button1 button3 button2 (fire nade jets) button3 scroll (wep change)

That's how I have it configured as well. Too bad it takes the knife a second to kick in, cause half the time I end up throwing my weapon to the floor.

Doesn't work for me neither, but I tried everything.

I spin the wheel to reload, and press the wheel to throw nades. I've found that I use my knife more, and if I had assigned pressing the wheel to throw my knife, I'd end up with my weapon on the floor a lot too, "F" works just great for me.

I don't have a problem assigning the mouse wheel. Maybe you guys that are having problems should try the same method that is used to bind the space bar....

mouse button 1 - shoot
mouse button 2 - nades
middle mouse button - throw weapon
mousewheel - reload
space bar - jets

Same thing here.But 4th and 5th buttons are working in ET!

Midlle mouse button in my config = trow weapon for easier knife trowing. I think its best use for it

i don't even like my middle button

I tried to use the wheel as change weapon a while ago, I ended up pressing the q button all the time :)
