you all know that you can shoot weapons in the ground, so they will fly, dont you? well i was thinking that, when you throw a knife its kinda like dropping it into the ground aint it? well, it would be cool if you could shoot the knife around with bullets. you could, for example, reflect a thrown knife back to the thrower or just away from you.

Just look at the way the flag(s) tend to warp around.
Back in 1.0.5b you were able to shoot gren/health boxes around (offline) and Michal removed it completely because it would be pointless as an offline-only feature. Why? Because it will create more packet-related lag.

Actually, listen to what the guy has to say. It WOULD be a nice feature being able to deflect an incoming knife by shooting at it - if you're skilled or lucky enough to hit in in mid flight, you deserve to live a tad longer. :D

I agree with ROL4ND on this one. You should also be able to block shots by throwing your knife at them, making the bullets ricochet off.

Sounds like we read it the wrong way. It is a good idea in its own way, considering if you shot a knife (and it didn't break), it would at LEAST fall to the ground, if not fly away and never return!

Weapon balance:
Shotgun/autos>others with this idea, and knife< everything.

miniguner can always refelect a nade or knife then... but i like it...
