I play soldat on a $2000 Sony Vaio 2.0GH 512 RAM and when i aim in the game, it has a delay before it moves, almost to about half a second.

Everything was working fine and now its not.

And what had you done between when it worked and when it stopped working? Hardware updates? Programs installed?

Well it's not your computers performance so far ;) But I think those Vaios don't have good GFX card right? Maybe it's that... Or did it run fine on that computer before? You should post all changes you did to the game and maybe use a program like 'Enditall' (may google be with you) before you start playing Soldat.

update usb-drivers if it is a usb-mouse

I had that happen to me too. Make sure that you close as many programs you could first, those might lag up the game, as I found out that many people thinks that all those programs that execute on startup are actually useful.
