There was a time when i was good with m79 then 1.2 came out and my m79 was ruined and all this vehicles i mean gawd and the carrots, THE CARROTS ON THE DOLPHINS ARGHHHJJHJH

well, because Outcast was on a pause from soldat, and the game needed a new m79 supreme player... thats why i use it...

now for real: coz its fun, nice to make long arqued shots with it. very thrilling. specialy in an age where everyone sprays around like a fuken gang member.

I'd like to point out that it's not fun when you're using your SPAS-12 to blast your enemies guts out his spleen, and he desintegrates you from 2 feet range with his m79 and does barely take damage.
Otherwise it's only annoying when the whole server is using it.

doing a superman then shooting straight up at someone. They know they can't dodge it so they press like 6 buttons at the same time hoping that the bullet will miss is the best. OMG [:-censored] pronecrouchleftjumprightjet !1!!11 Boom.

Well, I'd just like to say one thing.The m79 is good for boosting yourself Out of enemy Spawn point with the Flag on map ctf_Kampf...(=

Yeah, ctf_Kamph sucks rectum along with ctf_Death simply because it's the equavalent of constantly throwing yourself in front of enemy grenades and bullets for the sheer joy of it.

And on the M79 thingy, I can tolerate it, but if I'm going for instakills, I might as well go with the much longer range Barett. I don't even see why the M79 can be close to usefull when compared to the Barrett except for 2 things: Arc means you can shoot over hills, and faster rate of fire. Don't even talk about splash damage. Unless it's a direct hit, it's like getting shot with a socom in the foot.

Why do I use M79? Simple, because its so easy.

I use all weapons, M79 is ok but I wouldnt say its one of my favourtes.

Right, the reason why I like the M79, is because it's fairly easy to use, and lag friendly (more so than any other weapon) because of the sexplosion and stuff, it's fun to defend with, and getting REALLY good shots with it just look great.

i bet this will turn into a barett thread.
