I have changed the in-game text, I have converted to .it, i have named it exactly like the original file. Yet still it won't play it. What's wrong?

You're mixing something up there.

Yeah, you know, where it says:
None
Bloody Soil
Gore
Necromancide
Well I've changed that, and .it is the kind of file it reads it's music from.

Yes, that's music.
The .it stands for "impulse tracker" which is a tracker file format for composed music.
What exactly did you do? What did you use to edit the files?

Modplug traker.
I have no idea why this isn't working.

dont worry, u can go to www.soldat.pl to get a proggy that allows un-registred users to play their own music
or if u really want slow soldat and eventually [:-censored] up youre pc, just play the music before you start soldat
the music keeps on playing and u die of low fps (at least i did)
a word of advice: the regestry is worth the money

I'm already registered, and I want to change the built in music, eg. Necromancide, Bloody Soil and Gore, not just play my own.

You have to have music in a module format. Renaming an MP3 to IT just won't cut it.

do what I did open it in windows media and save the media as an .it file or .xm depending on what the extension. I tried mixing some zelda music, final fantasy 2 combat music, and of course the infamous mario 3 battleship/castle music. It is quite interesting.
