Something automatically kicked and permbanned at least 15 people from my server in the course of about 2 hours today. None of my admins were present, and the logs do not show any /kick or /ban commands. They were not hackers who were vote kicked/banned, they were regular players in my server for the most part.

for example, |Zen Dogs| Empyrium joined, and was kicked about 5 seconds later. Not everone kicked/banned was done so right after they joined, but this shows that it couldnt have been a vote kick, and the vote kick also would have shown up in the logs anyway.

any insight? I am running 1.2.1 and never had this problem before. I just installed 1.2.1 today

Sewer is one of my admins, and whatever bug it is banned him too.

i dunno today, but yesterday i tryed to join all day long and when it entered all the guys were freezed and something kicked you

that was yesterday, that was a stupid other bug i had to deal with. this is something related to 1.2.1 and i dont know what it is.

and M@,another regular. this is the second time ith appened to him. He says it is vote kick, but i dont see why everyone keeps getting kicked, and I'm pretty sure it isnt really a vote kick.

Ok, it turns out that the server's cheater detection is overactive. It suspects a lot of players, or someone said that the newbs are trying to kick everyone who they think is "too good". The default pass percentage for the vote kick is way too low. To any server owners i suggest raising the pass percentage to 80% so that only the people who deserve to get kicked actually will.

Problem seems to be resolved.
