I've done a search, and it came up empty on the subject, but sorry if i still re-posted this.
I was wonderin if someone can add more aerodynamics (is this the right word?) to the game. What i am saying is that for the characters to have more functions than run, jump, and roll. I would be cool to have some way to do tricks, such as back flips, front flips, etc. Maybe they can do one of the backward jumps while shooting (i.e. from the Matrix) and then roll back up when they land. This would kind of allow people to dodge shots, maybe?
Im not trying to change Soldat into something futuristic or anything, just have a way to kind of dodge bullets better. I think that would actually make it pretty cool, the ablility to run while shooting and do combos(not like fighting game type) and perform doging moves.
Oh yea, like jetpacking into a wall, and kicking off into antoher direction without losing too much momentum?
Whaddya think?

that starts to impede on the simplicity of soldat that everyone loves. it may sound cool, but in game it wouldnt add much to enhance soldat for what it is. This isnt Tony Hawk pro skater something-or-other. Its a simple game where we blow the [:-censored] out of eachother

If you want fancy moves, play Bullet Time Fighting or N.

My implication was merely to have something a (keyword)little more extreme. N is good, but it isn't really interesting (when it comes to action), besides its more puzzle game-ish. Eh maybe it wont't work as well as i thought it would...

Yes, what IS bullet time fighting? Is it like madness interactive?

Does it involve some mad hack that invokes permanent bullet time in DM? (That'd be funny...)

Nah, Soldat=Plain And Simple just the way people like it. Good suggestion though, The Matrix game for ps2 is a good game ;O!

"Silly soldat, tricks are for kids!"
..I quite like the idea really.. why shouldn't your typical soldat have a few ducks and dives under his belt?

Hmm..I say give us more movement, and we do more tricks.I mean start rolling, jet and turn back while in air.It looks funky, it's cool, and it's useless: it's a trick.
More movement=>more tricks imo.

hmmmmm, you can always just use what you have and do the same stuff you are talking about, it sorta makes it cooler because its harder to pull off
Front flip: Jet + Foreward roll
Back flip: Jet + Backward roll
Bullet Dodge: Hop + Prone or Jump + Prone + Jet
Backwards bullet dodge: Back hop + Prone
Wall jump: run into wall at a 45 to 70 degree angle, as soon as you land, hop the other way
Wall flip: run into wall at a 45 to 70 degree angle, roll as soon as you land
Boost Jump: Jump, then Jet at 2/3's of the jump for maximum height
Now, go and practice those if you want to be cool :P
