A really nice thing would be more environmental stuff. I like trees and shrubs and stuff, but it would be neat to have more interactive things... certain trees that are bigger and can be shot down, water and swimming, etc.
Cooler yet would be having animals and things... some would be aggressive, and you could for instance grenade someone into a pit of *insert fierce animal here*. Basically, they'd be bots that are more simple than Soldat guys... just walk back and forth, whatever. A neat thing would be special things like player-animal collision, so you could jump on top of a big animal and with skill let it take you somewhere. Not full out RIDING, but if you were good you could stay on top.
Last thing is moving map parts. Like... doors that open. In CTF each base could have a HUGE door in the front, and if you were sneaky you could get into the enemy base, get into a room far back, and open the front of their base(letting your buddies swarm in and wtfpwn everybody).
