Added In CTF health and grenade boxes spawn on players team side, player can pick up enemy boxes and "steal" them on his side
Has anyone figured out how to work this? [:-dunce]

Well ok let me think
If you use the enemy's box it spawns in your team's base

karmazon said it. so you can health whore at the enemies team and they wont have any healths, because they will all be on your teams side.

Oh is that all? For some reason I had envisioned literally picking up the boxes and running them back to your side.

Well it didn't really do the same thing before. Before they just didn't have any boxes because you used them all (but they would respawn with time). Now if you take one of their health kits, the box spawns on your base's side almost instantaneously. If you take them all from your opponent's side, they won't get any new health boxes until they steal some back from you.

Wouldn't it be better to do the opposite? To even the teams rather than reward a team that already has an advantage over the other?
In large infiltration maps the red team can steal all blues pick ups and leave them at their base. Blue can't get them back without leaving the flag??

that at least will help keep them from camping their flag, thus creating a different kind of balance in the game

This adds another perspective to the Soldat. Blue infiltration has to defend the health as well as the flag. Personally, I've always been a fan of, "A good defence is a good offence," so it could easily work both ways.

well its funny coz in ctf pll usually complain there are no medkits in enemy base, the more kits in your base the bigger chance the enemy will use it

Wow. I also thought that you should run with the box to your own base... but this way was better. Very clever.
It can give CTF and Infiltration a whole new perspective of offence/defence, if you know what I mean...

That's an IMPROVEMENT? Its like a less obivous version of Counter Strike's stupid money system, although not as reliable. Now, mabey if you couldn't USE the medkits in their base at all, just steal them, it would be okay (aka instead of a health boost for the attacker its a boost for his teammates defending).

I've never played Counter Strike... but this is an improvement. It brings more strategy and perhaps more thinking to the game. If you don't want your opponents to use and thus steal your medikits you better defend them.

thats pretty interesting...i didnt even know.
I think its a good idea, adds some complexity.
Its not like soldats that complicated anyways so some strategy is good i think

Yes... we liberate the medkits while we drop grenades on the enemies of Freedom!
