When I play it, my computer gets f*ucked up and closes.
When I turn on my computer again it shows a message:

Hmmmm, are you sure it's the map's fault?

Don't blame the map. It's not like it screwed your computer up on purpose!

At what point exactly does it show that error, MercyM?

If it's BEFORE your OS boots, than your Video Card may be seated incorrectly or overheating. You may need to try reseating it (taking the card out and placing it back in again*) to get that problem fixed.

If you are recieving that error after your OS boots, than it's a software issue, and you should probably look into downloading the latest versions of your Video Card Manufacturer's Drivers. I've posted a few links below to help you find them.

http://www.ati.com/ - ATI Inc.
http://www.nvidia.com - nVidia Corporation
http://www.3dfx.com/ - 3dfx (defunct)

* - Use all proper precautions when opening your PC case and making adjustments to your hardware. All slotted components should be reseated at least once every year to prevent loss of data, system instability, and crashes. Disregard reseating your Video Card if it is an integrated model, obviously.

I hope this helps!

Great! I'm glad you got it working, MercyM.

Just out of curiousity, what fixed it? (Just in case I ever encounter the problem myself)

Thanks Alamo! I just enjoy being able to help people get their PC's working, especially when it comes to PC games.

Again, I'm glad I could be of help, MercyM! Chernobyl is a pretty awesome map. I love the general look and feel of it.
