Before I elaborate on the new game mode I am about to suggest, allow me to apologize if this has been mentioned before.

There is no simpler way to describe the concept of Tug-of-War than to follow the frags of our two imaginary players, ?A? and ?Z?.

Tug-of-War Mode:

Kill limit: 5

Player ?Z? frags player ?A?.
Z = 1
A = 0

Player ?Z? frags player ?A? again.
Z = 2
A = 0

Player ?A? retaliates and kills player ?Z?.
Z = 1
A = 0

Player ?A? manages to kill player ?Z? two more times.
Z = 0
A = 1

In order to win, a player has to reach a score of 5-0 in his favor.
Naturally, the kill limit can be set as one pleases.

if the skill of both players are the same.... it would take forever...
and who would call them selfs A and Z? next time use cheeder and laster j/k
but what about teams...

Sounds interesting. It would work with teams but with a higher limit. It might be a good idea unless there is someone really good who offsets the team's balance.

I agree with you, DT, it could be a very frustrating match...

Maybe if both players restart each time after a kill and with the same weapon. First round both have one secondary, second round both have the same weapon randomly selected, etc.

Sapphire, I think you are wrong.This game mode, unlike point match, is meant for players on the same skill level.Tug-of-War would be fun with others on your level, since you won't get bored :) Pointmatch is misunderstood sadly.

Im with DT, it could be fun, but if the players/teams are even in skills, it could last forever.
