How do you make scenery transparent? Won't work for me with the transparency bar in the Map Maker!


Invisible scenery:
Certain scenery doesn't appear, even when I start a map, get a scenery, sometimes it doesn't appear! Why?

that you must have reached the limit.
you better download smm 1.2
or smm 1.2+

Wjere do I get it? On the Soldat Downloads page page it only has SMM 1.1.5,
And I haven't reached the limit. I start a map and the transparancy won't work.

it did, but how do we know its transparant? Doesn't appear transparent in the map maker.

Make sure the transparency slider is set in the middle of the track, and not to one side. Its set out badly so that the middle of the bar = 50% transparency, and either end = 0% transparency.

Are you sure you're clicking the 'create' button AFTER defining a good amount of transparency.

That's the only thing i can think of.

Or, rarely maybe, your graphic card gets into trouble when not i fullscreen mode (when using the SMM).

I don't know Toumaz, and Boxo, after I put the cetain transparency,I create the scenery and its not transparent.

It is transparent but u cant see it becaue ur grahics card (ATI) doesnt support alpha transparency.
Same problem as the wierd graphics u have : Topic.
