I installed the new NVidia driver, my video card is GeForce4 mx 420.
With the older driver i was using, the game was running correctly, but i bought a dvd player and it require the new drivers.
Look what happens with the new drivers!

this is not a part of it, it's the whole screen

also, the menu interface is at the good size.. it's only in the game that it's too large (and in the demo at the begining of the game)

what can i do?

Trying playing windowed? Also, check if you have Anti-Aliasing enabled, and turn it off... I think AA used to do that to me on my older computer :x I guess you could always roll back to your older driver...

My friend had the same issue with his PC awhile back. The newer drivers have a real issue with Soldat and he had to downgrade to get it to work, unfortunately.

You might want to try using a set of third-party drivers. They may or may not provide you with the same functionality (DVD) and gaming (Soldat).

Here are a few links to some third-party driver sites:

http://www.dna-drivers.nl/

I hope those help you. If they don't, then you may just have to downgrade.

I had the same problem with my GeForce 5200 FX. Luckily it only looked like that when I took screenshots. It got fixed when I installed the omega drivers instead of nvidia's.

But first you should fiddle around in your Config.exe and see if you can make it go away. If that doesn't help, install the omega drivers.

Yup, it's caused by Anti-aliasing + newer nVidia drivers.
