You may need to be a little more specific, Hoody4.

For example, you said Soldat beeps. Does it actually make a noise, does it start up, or anything? I need a little more info than that to start out with.

However, as a general rule, if you have a problem with Soldat, than you will have to reinstall. This means you will need to uninstall Soldat, delete the Soldat folder, restart, reinstall Soldat and try launching it again. If that doesn't work, then I would say you might need to install the latest version of DirectX. The current newest release is 9.0c, which can be found at Microsoft's website.

I would also get the current, latest version of your video card drivers. These can usually be found by simply visiting the website of the company or manufacturer that made your graphic card, or by visiting the website of the vendor that sold you your PC.

Video Card manufacturers:

http://www.ati.com - ATI
http://www.nvidia.com - Nvidia
http://www.3dfx.com/ - 3dfx

PC Vendors:

http://www.dell.com - Dell
http://www.hp.com - Hewlett-Packard (HP)
http://www.gateway.com/index.shtml - Gateway

BadboyKilla had your the same problem you described too (in this topic)

It seems it went unsolved for him, but you could try going down the checklist in the FAQ, and maybe see if your specs relate to his his. What is your video card?
