i was introduced to soldat about a year ago, and only recently have i encountered an online movement. i think where it's going is great, and i love being able to play it online like this.
but to get to the point, what i think soldat could benefit from is
1- some kind of mission-based campaigns
2- more weapons (maybe exotic things, like lasers ro missile launchers and what have you).
i'm a huge fan of this game and i think expansion could only increase its appeal.

There are missile launchers...ever since like two years ago...how old is your version? Download version 1.2.1 from soldat.pl..

lasers? too much 007 for you....
(but some hot chicks might be nice ;)

Firstly there are single player maps, you can find them somewhere in the "new maps" section of the forums.
Secondly, i dont think we need anymore weapons added into soldat.
