you need to not cut down anything. you take the regular bow, erase the bow, but use it's center as the center of your gun. i got that one wrong the first time, years back.

Somebody REALLY needs to make a gostek preview thing in visual basic. It would be much easier for me to check my gosteks with it rather than play soldat on and off. :-/

I would suggest making it a bit darker looking, I really like how the M249 looks, make the rest darker like that. I like the shapes, they are actually accurate. the FAMAS looks a little strange to me, but maybe it's a special rail type... Good job so far.

EDIT: done the gosteks, but the explosion looks ghey. Anybody here got some good explosion alternatives looking similar to the original one?

I suggest using the explosions in the henchin mod.
Edit: I just checked out lapis' suggestion, the henchin one is way better, ive been using the latter for sometime till I saw the henchin mod's explosion.

The shotgun is otherwise know as the Jackhammer and your Famas looks kind weird. I love the m249 and the m60 tho. Mp5k is slightly too long. otherwise great job.

China = source of cheap dvd's as well as other nice stuff like cheap but good quality mp3's or ipods :D I mean ... com'on everything is like 6 times cheaper over there XD. Oh and im also gettin my self some computer upgrades (3.8 Ghz pentuim 4 mother board, 256 mb graphics card ... possibly the newest radeion verion if i can find it, 2gb of ram, new LCD moniter, new speakers, and a case which has a self cooling liquid based system) ... thats my shopping list ... and of course ... Lol, i liked the gosteks fo it so I converted them to normal looking clothes. The full helmet is toggleable.

Meh, It's not uploaded anymore, and the idea for a halo mod has been tried and tried again, so I don't much care for it.

I think it should be called Sliver Edition Soldat.

I like it how you edited the orginal sfx so it still has that Soldat feel to it. Btw some things I think should be improved are:

The mp5 firing sfx. It sounds incompleted like when you stop shooting its like the sound halts all together. And the socom reload sounds louder than the rest.

I love the crossbow

It took me no time at all ... got it off a disc :P photoshop is a must have if your creating mods. I never used paint before but i hear people saying that it is good.

Paint is only good because it had the default green color soldat uses, and its rectangular select tool sometimes is handy. Otherwise, paint is sh1t.

It will be hard for me to download Photoshop now.. :X

told you already, the link is messed up. I don't plan on waiting for 2 hours for my mod to upload at llamas, so meh.

Crappalicious. I can't work with black and white pictures :(

But, i have made some other sweet changes. The pointmatch flag has a skull and crossbones on it. The player death sfx's have been changed to brutish grunting sounds. Some more gun sfx fixes, and some minor weapon gfx fixes. I still have problems lining up the weapon fire with the muzzles :-/ And the crossbow is off kilter inside its glowing sphere.

maybee it would also be cool iff the guns where ingae chrome and in the wep-gfx also chrome (so no collers)

It would be hard to distinguish the weapons ingame if they all were chrome, although i have tinkered with that idea...
How did the original interface-gfx ghet made? Maybe i could learn a thing or two from the techniques used there to color my b and w interface guns..

Holy Hell this mod is awesome. It's so somber..I love it. Only I can't use the Sparx-gfx cuz it screws over my blue mod and I love its explosions. The only thing I don't like is what you did to Rambo's bandana, did you get rid of it or something? Because lately when I've been playing Rambo he looks the same as everyone else.

sorry, i had to get rid of the original because i accidentally saved another file over it. Next release, I'll have a fixed bandana ;)

You should tweak the chainsaw sfx, dunno if anyone's mentioned this before but it sounds wierd.

I'ma goin to make a new thread, since there have been some MAJOR fixes on this mod.

I've revamped all the soldier voices, very cool. And Serial Killer has graciously fixed the menu pics. I did lotsa fixing in the weapon-gfx department, so as to match the menu pics. All that's left is making a zip and getting some piccys.
