Second Installment, 1860s

Map: Ctf_Gettysburg
Type: Capture the Flag
Waypointed: Yes, Full support
Perferred Players: 4 to 6, bots can be used to fill in the spots
Objective: Defend the map until time runs out

This map is located on one of the most bloody battles of the Civilwar, Gettysburg. This specific map is based on a little hill called "Little Round Top", and on the day of the battle, the Union Soldiers took over the hill. Around 5 PM, the Confederate Soldiers climbed up the hill on both sides to try and take it back. You, as a union soldier, have to fight to defend the hill from the confederate rush. Good luck.

Note: Capturing the flags as red will void the game and is considered a loss.

Supplies and Defenses:
2 Stationary Guns
2 Trenches
3 Medkits, 3 Granade kits
1 Fence
3 Sandbag forts

Mmmh how about bugs in that map? I havent tried it yet, but I remember that in those before, there were lots of bugs resulting from too many "rounding". Hope this one aint that buggy, cause the gameplay of those maps rocks ;)

Leo, couldn't you just make the map Inf, so one team cannot void the game?

Well, I COULD make it inf, but then all the single player maps were made in ctf, so it'd be annoying to change gamemode in the middle of the rotation. Plus I'd like to stick to tradition :P Oh, and referring to GD's question, the map is pretty much smooth and bugless, and I couldn't find any bouncy polygons anywhere on the map.

As for an overview.....here you go, updated onto first post. I'll also make the other screenshots bigger, so you can see it better.

Yeah, I just tried it online with 5 other human players, vs 10 Confederate Soldiers, it was a good change from the normal "Rush, get shot, repeat" Method of Soldat...

The screens work just fine. It's a problem on Marines end of things.

This is a very fun map. The gameplay is good, and the way everything is laid out is nice. I can't wait to see the next.

I find the '3D-Scenery' looking quite odd. In the end it's just a scenery sticked onto polygons... that looks freaky. like a misplaced scenery.

I was sorta experimenting and practicing with my shading on this map, I was trying to give it a more 3D look to it. Also, the "Scenary on polygon" was pretty much inspired by LXS's maps such as Stalingrad and Overlord.
