This is just a simple suggestion. Some people prefer playing in different styles for a different experience. Maybe playing as a gangster in the 1920's or shooting lasers in the year 3004. This is just a suggestion to expand the variety of Soldat. Thanks

Yea, you know it would be really nice if MM had a bit of extra time on his hands (which I doubt he does -.-) to make a few different weapon sets. Like maybe the default, and then an American Army set, or a Gangster set, or WWII set or something. Sure theres MODs but it'd be awesome if he made it so that you could switch them on or off with the click of your mouse.

If he wanted to add mods with soldat downloads, he could and would. Unfortunatly he does not want to the download for the game to be too large, and mods are usually 1mb+

u can just switch them just dl a mod changer u noobs

there should be a built in mod changer in the game and there should be a folder for u to put ur mods.

Half-Life had a bunch of mods that were made by the developers, CS and Blue shift and Opposing force etc. Michal should make one like that because he undertsnads weapon balance and all that junk that would be needed to create a successful and widely used source mod. Maybe even one that surpasses the original ala CS.

i like the idea, sorta like a custom game option like in half life, highly simplifying the mod switching..like if u wanna play a certain game type offline, then switch to normal to be able to play online, and etc. etc. alot easier than downloading a seperate program to do so, ey?

CS was made by some random mod team, not valve.. valve hired the team after seeing how insanely popular they became.

blue shift was made by gearbox, not valve.

im almost certain op4 was also made by gearbox, but possibly with help from valve.

developers dont usually make mods..and if i can remember, the quake 3 team tried to make one, but it died very shortly after..the idea for it sucked anyways.
