Is there a risk at downloading executable file when it auto-download maps, or is there a filter system that allows only 'pms' and 'bmp' files to be transfered?

Where do we put maps for Auto-DL anyway?

Oh and with all executables, there is a risk. A virus sneaks in through it if server has got it and BAM you got it too...

micronium, even IF Soldat downloaded a executable file, Soldat would not RUN it.

There's a risk like this in any game that lets you auto-download files from the server. There's a risk -playing games online-. You just have to protect yourself as best you can and keep adequate backups of any important files on a seperate medium (CD, Floppy Disk, USB Drive, etc.) and hope that the worst never happens.
