1)Unzip in your X:/Windows/Cursors.
2)Go to Control Panel/Mouse/Cursors/Examinate...
3)Select soldat.cur
4)Accept
5)Run Soldat MapMaker!

Is it the exact size? If yes that's great :) I often had problems finding the right size... but I'm not that big a mapper either.

Yes, its the exact size in my resolution of 800x600...I dunno if the cursor size changes with the resolution....

Could you explain what it is so I don't have to worry about downloading something useless?

Err...do you see the arrow that you move with the mouse? With this file, you can replace the arrow for a soldat player, and use it for checking sizes in the mapmaker...

I use scenery of gosteks for that though :P
