Back on topic: can BMF only dish and not recieve?

Has the hard nut of this forum's past reduced himself to whimpering and making petty retaliations when victim to the slightest flak?

Are his shallow insults 'really' just intended as light-hearted fun, or is that just an equally shallow excuse when put on the spotlight?

And about beers: The best beer, to me, is German. The only American beer I'd get is a brand called 'Arrogant [IMAGE]'. For anything else, I'd just go for a good ole' Heiniken.

There are plenty of good beers in America, and plenty of bad beers that would taste somewhat like piss. Some of the best stuff comes out of private breweries and mircobrews. My favorite beers are of the Belgian ale variety...some local brewers have studied in Europe and abroad to bring back good their own good takes on beer. Not to mention we get plenty of imports from Europe, China, and a few other places. As TFS mentioned, the Arrogant [IMAGE] is pretty good, but I'm not sure how widely that's distributed. Commercial beers (Coors, Bud, etc.) tend to be weak and thin, not to mention way too light...but there are plenty of dark, rich beers in America. ^_^

There are some decent American beers out there. Example is Milwaukee, it's dirt cheap and it's not half bad. And I don't drink none of the Bud/Coors/Miller piss. Bavaria, Pilsner, Warsteiner, Heineken. Some mexican beers are not bad, think Corona. Of American Guiness is good, but I am not a big fan of dark beer.

Oh, and Chakra it warms my heart to know that while I am sleeping here in America, you are thinking about me over there in England.

The only Bud beer I ever drink is Budlight. All my friends hate it, but its cheap, and it has a surprisingly strong punch. You don't notice it until 8 cans later when you gotta get up and go to the john. And you can't walk straight.

Beer in cans is the worst, mainly due to the fact that the chemicals used in the manufacturing of the cans are still present in the end product, and in turn alter the taste of the beer. Would explain why bottled beer is more expensive.

Always wondered about that... I thought bottled beer was just more expensive to discourage the chav's from purchasing them, to then smash over people's heads.

Alway's preferred a pint of Henry's IPA ale myself. And Guiness is strictly an acquired taste, which is really quite nice. I only mock the likes of yank-beer after having witnessed the likes of 'Rolling Rock' and whatever inbred cousins it brought over here. Sprite has more of a kick.

I work in a bottle shop and beer in cans V bottles (stubbies) is exactly the same price. 100%. (this is Aus remember). Australians on the whole enjoy beer out of cans for some reason (not me).
We have a few main beers. Victoria Bitter (VB), Carlton Draft, Tooheys New (also known as Tooheys Spew). Coopers Pale Ale and James Squire is your thicker, darker beer.

Personal fav atm is Killkenny.

Anyway - beer in cans sucks because you cant throw the bottles at people and injure them when you so drunk you cant stand up.
