I get Soldat ready, and press the start button to be greeted with a blank grey screen that freezes my computer. I have Windows 2000. Does this effect Soldat? I really want to play but am lagged by this.

I have a NVIDIA VANTA graphics card

try reinstalling.

I really doubt you could play soldat. If I remember right yours is a 4mb video card. You would have to disable all graphic options in soldat setup like antialiasing try different drivers, use dx90b and then maybe, and only maybe you can play.
You can play soldat in w2000.

Thanks, I got DirectX 9.0 and now it works fine.
