I've been wanting to try out making a dopey little comic, and here is the result. It's not supposed to be particularly funny, but it does express some personal feelings about ...some types of players.

Sure, somehow make it longer, but I'm not sure how... Maybe make a comic of even more Soldiers(1) pissing you off? Who knows :)

It's pretty cool. If you get better it could be similar to Red vs Blue that they made based on Halo.

I sat down and was two clicks away from finishing the second one, and GIMP crashed. Maybe because it was on Windows. Does anyone know a stable image editor that works with .jpegs besides PSP?

EDIT: I eventually got back to work and fished it (again), and gimp saved it as a small blue rectangle. Jesus, I am so pissed.

heheh that's what happens if you use free software... my 'free' version of Paintshop Pro works great.

you can get PSP on emule or kazaa or dc++ or whatever the [IMAGE] people use these days at around 50-70mb. Worth the wait.

I FINALLY put it together in paintbrush and converted it to .png format. I think it's lost something with my exaustion on this comic, and I don't think it was as funny as the previous versions, but I can't remember how I did the others. Regardless, I like it, wether or not it's funny. Yet another adventure with Soldier (7).

I probably will, but it's tough to find a gimmick (bashing the uber-newbs), and then warp it into a funny little story. I'd like for it to not be "my guy kills your guy" kind of comic in every one, like Spy vs. Spy is... but if that's the gimmick that everyone likes...

It's like, "Ok, how can I make flag carrying funny?" and then I'm thinking, "Err... um... ah..."

I'll probably get some guys on the IRC to help. And, BTW, I got some help from them already. Thanks to Demonic for the largest amount of support.

Eh, try to make these comics a little more funny. Theyre nice and all and I see the potential, but they arent hitting the funny switch with me.

Make them funnier, and they'll be good.

I've completed the script to the third one. I think it will be the funniest yet, but we'll see. I'm not sure when I'll start actually making the comic, but at least you know development is underway.

It might be a while before a 4th comic (or it might be tomorrow), if I decide to make one. It's going to be difficult for me to best that one, but I can make more, certainly. I'm really liking the response of everybody.

Life has been very hectic lately. Between school and work, it's tough to get inspiration for more comics. But I also am afraid to try to make any more, because since I had started on mine, in seems like everyone and their brother is squeezing out some kind of comic.
