Why the forum site doesn't have a favicon?

What is a favicon? Are you talking about the icon that is displayed in the favourites? If you mean that... I have it.

we had one, it was the soldat app icon, but it didn't look too good (IMHO) so I dropped it. If someone wants to create I'll fire it up.

How come I see them here now (maybe you just got them up again)... but I also saw one before... Was it stored because it was an old link?

yup, prob was cached

once IE(and possibly other browsers as well) gets a favicon, it caches it forever. Even if Styx put up a new one, it wont show in your browser unless you find the old one in the cache and delete it, Alamo
