Let me try to work this out...

You want a tank in Soldat? Or a tank scenery in the map maker? A moving polygon?
The vehicle idea has been rejected too many times to count, as with the moving polygon, and the scenery you can make yourself (if you wish to know, green is transparent).

You want the lazer in Soldat? A lazer scenery? A death collider?
The new weapons have been rejected a few times, for the scenery see above. A death collider would be cool though, so if you pass through it, you died.

You would like a race mode in Soldat?
grand_diablo has made many race maps, as has Ville, Alamo (if I remember) and even li'l old me.
The gameplay is like this.
You have the game set to TDM or CTF. There are the two flags of the team colours at the finish, and the first one to reach them wins. There are many mazes and obstacles around the arena and so on as well.

I think you may have posted in the wrong forum, but either way, use Search before you post, O.K?

and for the tank I would like one which remains fixed on the ground but with missiles

No, actually I didn't do a race map... :) I always wanted to make maps but my skills are too low (I'm too lazy)

I don't think a deadlier stat gun would be good for Soldat... and for the 'lazer' ... I don't think I get what you want to say.

Well...soldat is a more WAR game..and allthough there are laser-targeted weapons that can take out missiles and stuff...we dont need it in soldat.

Wella moving polygon is a great idea Michal should work on it let's take an exemple. The tank shoot a big missile and it needs 6 secs to reload and the guy in the tank receive only 50$ of the damages... yeah great idea i should make a forum on this....
