yeah, we can't teach you everything, not at all. Get the programs, and if you're programming make a couple hello world programs and some other basic apps, then find an idea for a soldat app and start it, and learn as you go along. We can't teach you all of the coding or how to use the apps from the very start.

Game maker 5 would be a very sloppy development tool to make a 3rd part program for Soldat. If you have a development studio like Visual Basic or Visual C++, it would probably make your life much easier.

learn vb and or c++ but by the time you learn any of it you wont be interested in making apps for soldat cuz it takes a good amount of time to learn programming

meh, id spring for a copy of delphi 7, i think i saw it free somewhere (legal)
seeing that Delphi is the language soldat is programmed in, it might be a good choice, or i just love using Delphi and anothernoob never hurts :p

Yeah, Delphi would be a goood choice because it is easy to make visual apps with and because you already have Pascal experience (I'm guessing there should be quite a lot of similarities, but I don't know much about it). I installed Delphi recently (v6) because soldat was made in it and Java is just too damn slow (at least in the ways I use it) to make the sort of games/apps I want. As far as the actual application's purpose, I'm not sure of the possibilities.

Ever since the soldat ultra manager was released, I don't think we'll be needing any more apps :P
