ctf_Kampf inverted

As the title says, this map is basically an inverted version of ctf_kampf.

How is it inverted? The areas where polygons used to occupy in the map is now the battefield, while the battlefield in kampf are now filled with polygons. Doesn't take a genius to think of that, huh?
Anyhow, if that didn't make sense just look at the screens below.

I inverted kampf as it was the first map that came to mind that had all the land linked together(if you included some scenery). Of course, it is not 100% an outline of kampf, some passageways needed enlarging etc.

I don't think there's any poly breaks. So far, i'm satisfied why the shading but if you got suggestions to improve it, post-away. After running a few rounds, i think it may be a slightly unbalanced map. But i don't have a chance to play using proper teams so i dunno yet. If its too unbalanced, i might just convert it to a DM map or overhaul it so its not fpamk anymore, or just leave it alone altogether.

anyhow, d/l the first ver of the map below. its not waypointed yet, btw. Feel free to waypoint or edit it.

I actually think THAT IS original, im gonna surely look at this.

EDIT:
Just took a short run.

This map could offer interesting gameplay I think, but still I got some suggestions:
- Eventhough its meant to be inverted, enlarge the inverted spikes the players spawn in.
- make the flag spawn area a bit more like a platform, this spawning on top of a triangle at the border of 2 polygons tends to be a bit buggy.

Still gj, go for it!

How is this supposed to be inverted? I don't see how this is inverted at all.

Don't take into account the polygons on the outside, they're just there for gameplay purposes. Look at the inner ones and compare them to the regular ctf_Kampf. Maybe he should've posted a overview of the original so you can see what he did.

Yes but no matter which way I look at it, I cant see the original kampf.

The map has been updated to v1.02
Shading is slightly modified.
Took suggestions by grand_diablo (thanks!)
Some polygons are modified to make your run smoother.
Waypointed too.

Won't be providing new sceens as the differences aren't too drastic.
May be the "final" version if i decide to be a lazy [IMAGE] :P But of course, you can always edit yourself.
My waypointing sux but i've tried my best. Likewise, if you got l33t waypointing skills, feel free to DIY...

Have Fun with the map. Don't hesitate to "invert" maps with the potential :S

Maybe mods should move this to the "new maps" section? Rather redundant to create a new thread huh?

i dont like this idea of ctf_Kampf inverted bcuz it will just confuse and there is not a lot of difference...

It's not really that confusing. I can see how it would be if you were playing the original, and then it suddenly inverted itself, but not as how they're two seperate maps. All he did was use one map design in order to develop another one that has a different look and different gameplay.
