I played this when I had windows ME and it worked like a champ, but then I installed windows XP. It tells me that I do not support directX 8.0 or higher, but I am completely positive that I have directX 9.0 so I installed an older video driver and it worked fine. Is there a way to run this without me having to regress to an older driver?

1)You might want to try installing the old driver instead of 9.0
2)Try Searching the forums With the "Forum Search"

My soldat runs fine on Windows XP (Home) SP2, Radeon 9800 PRO (latest drivers)

Working well on Windows XP pro sp 1, Ati Rage 128 Pro latest drivers XD and DirectX 9.0c
