What do you think are the best games (PC) made in 2004, and what are some good ones we can expect in 2005?

My list:

-Best: Half-Life 2

-Upcoming: KOTOR 2, Guild Wars, and Pariah

Whens Duke Nukem Forever coming out?

KOTOR 2 is looking good, but the best game of 2004? Soldat doesn't count because it is freeware? Or does it?

-Upcoming: Soldat 1.3, Soldat 1.4, Soldat....etc, oh and Gran Turismo 4 and Tekken 5, and maybe Dynasty Warriors 5 too.

soldat is not the best game.

best game IMO is Infantry.

stalker will be good.

best this year is Half Life 2 or World of Warcraft.

Best FPS: Halo 2/Half Life 2

the best FPS for the year was Half Life 2. Unreal Tournament 2004 in 2nd, Halo 2 in 3rd, and Far Cry in 4th.

Is it the overflow of Halo fanboys that have caused you to hate the game? I don't get it, it's a spectacular game, very cinematic game. Maybe none of you own X-Box's, maybe you're just PC gamers. It deserves top honors.

Yeah Killzone kinda sucked. It was ambitious though. UT2004 for 2nd place then.

Some of 'em are practically classics and revolutionary for their time...the new one blows though.

I remeber playing some old Larry games. I'm not sure if they were the original or clones. They were fun all the same.
