Hi - I just tried Soldat for the first time yesterday and decided to make a server. I downloaded the dedicated server and made the configurations as said in the readme-file. Then I started the server and got this errormessage:

Runtime error 230 at 08058B11
Segmentation fault

My system is a Fedora Core 2, intel 350mhz, 64mb ram.

PS: I tried to search the forum for similar posts, but when I do, the forumserver responds with a 500 Internal server error...

A search for "Segmentation fault" on the server Corps forum results in 5 links with no errors, try the search again.

when using the search you should restrict it to only one forum, like the bugs forum or this one, to limit how much work the search has to do.

I tried to limit the search and now it works - thanks :o)

I got some results, but it seems as if there is no fix for the problem even though others had the same problem... :o(

"This is a common error, and there's no fix yet. There is a post made by Tank with a perl script he made that automatically restarts the server when the server crashes. More info about it in the topic."
