ok I dont like the alien on the flag. I like it when its hanging to the right, cuz the alien seems to be holding it, but this is really weird, I pick up the flag and the alien is still on it. :s anyway if you cange that and sumbody makes interface guns, it rox. did you make the chains longer or sumting? cuz it seems to be....

Padulo, it's all amazing stuff! very predatorlized. you obviously have pixel skill. i feel the blue right looks fluorescing by dot dithering. i use this mod, though i particially use some of mines; bright bullets, yellow lemonades and q3/duke3d-like hit sound. that's k.
i think it's hard to make a beautifully connected gostek and there aren't many. i want to see more. doesn't mean a full mod, b1tchy one was good for me as it was.

what about the girls in the signature i wont them :D (the gostek)

iv'e found a litle bug int he mod: gostek: when you leek to the right the hair is cool but when you look to the left the hair is in the midle over his face plz fix that if you want...

eheheh...you can't play online if you do big changes, but this is a small edit, so you CAN play online :)
about the dreadlock-bug...sorry but i can't do anything to fix it! when your soldat is facing the left side, the dreadlock is moved towards the forehead (1 pixel). the only one who can fix this, is the almighty Michal :D

put the original "flag.bmp" in the Objects-gfx folder and say bye to the alien.

The gosteks looks amazing good job its real good

I play AVP2 (the PC game) and think that the guns look good, IMO, the bullets for each gun is wrong.

Heres what they look like in the PC version.

Speargun (one word, just so you know) Moves so fast, almost invisible. Should be the Barret replacement, kills in one shot and can pin someone against a wall.

Plasmacaster (fires a BLUE or RED ball of plasma with little to no streak behind it). Should replace Ruger because it is powerful, but you can live from it (see Predator 2).

Plasma Pistol (fire is a little smaller than plasmacaster, long trail behind it) Should really replace the M79, its alt-fire fires lobbing powerful shots.

Not much else you need a to fix, I can't play Soldat 1.2.1 (I play soldat on a non-internet computer, and it screws up everytime I try to play alone in Soldat 1.2.1) and only play Soldat 1.0.5b. I think that some people here would like an interface, but before you make it, read up on proper Predator numerals. (Pretty simple, based on segments of 9).

Also, those screens, are from AVP and AVP2 the game also, so he has some inspiration from the game obviously.

Also, those descriptions are based from the Predator books.

peemonkey is right. the predator merchandise is huge! you can find movies, books, action figures, comics, videogames, toys....
unfortunely, there isn't a "standard weapon kit". for each weapon there is at least 3 or 4 versions. I have had to make some choices, even wrong.
about the pics: ;_; sigh! i know, all bad, all too small and dark. i couldn't find something better. there's a strange lack of predator pics in internet, try to put "predator speargun" in google and you'll see it.
however, i can switch the ruger with the barret if you want. no problem.
so,
ruger -> plasmacaster.
barret -> speargun.
Plasma Pistol/M79 bullet more small.
aaaand.... sorry but i'm not good at interface modding....

Cool mod. ^-^ I tried it out for a bit and it's really well done. I like the sounds, and the crosshair looks great. Everything is really good, but I've only got one complaint. As I was playing Capture the Flag, it was kind of had to tell Red and Blue apart. I was shooting at my own guy, only to realize it by the time a real Blue came up and shot me. Other than the colors, it's really good!

EDIT: Scratch the color remark. IT was actually my computer messing up the colors. I guess it wasn't used to the mod or something. But the colors are ok now. ^-^

With the masks version, why is my helmet actaully goggles? None of the combinations seem to give me a predator mask like in this http://img179.exs.cx/img179/3016/predatorsmall1ac.png (the top middle picture)...

well, with the MASK version the soldier head become a masked predator head. you don't need the helmet (modded as googles).
the default combination is:
white colors, dreadlock, no helmet, no hat, no doag tag and no gold chain.
about the interface guns...you guys really want it? i could make a try this sunday

MM made a predetor interface, i like the laser dots on that one more.
