... here, everyone (or at least everyone except for me) listening to good music (Metal ;) has long hair. It's just a sign that you belong to the sub-culture 'Metalhead'

It has more to do with culture/religion.

If you ever study Buddhist related material, you will notice that men should not have long hair. It has to do with personal cultivation and the goal of becoming enlightened.

There are basic guidelines for people at the beginning of their cultivation.
Both of the guidelines below are included:
Men - short hair
Women - long hair

I go to a christian school, got to keep the hair manageable :D

I don't remember worshiping a picture ever as a Christian.
They were probably catholic freaks.

How can you be so sure that all the others are false, and yours is true? You say all the rest are just "false" religions, but you really have nothing to base your distinction off of other than your own personal beliefs and feelings, which makes your statement far beyond biased. Although he was just joking, there are and have been legitimate religions that worshipped the sun, moon, and the earth. And why shouldn't they? They owe their entire existence to each.
