I have noticied that the lobby is getting a bit smaller for the number of requests it has, cause lately (i mean since 1.5 version and foward) the "Request Servers" feature is functioning worse every day...i don't know who hosts teh lobby, but i guess the lobby needs a bit of an improvement in the computer specs (Understand me???)...
My english is so basic.................

I noticed that today too. I was looking for a specific server and i had to request server like 5 times before it came up.

It really pisses me off when I get "Lobby Server is not responding" messages,and when I finally get some results, its only a page worth of results. So, it really needs some upgrades or something because yeah, it definately is getting worse.

Maybe there should be two lobby servers and Soldat would automatically search both of them.
You would have all the results displayed on your screen, and the amount of servers would be evenly distributed between both lobbys.
Is that possible?

Another thing with the lobby is that it seems to keep mixing up the servers, right after you click to catergorize them. I know the list has finished refreshing, but it happens to me a lot.

Sounds to me like the lobby is just getting too much action. Is there more players around these days? Kinda feels like it.

Wait a minut... When i press "Refresh Server" it says it found 112 server but it only show 6-7 servers...and some times nothing shows up.
Omg i am scared...Look on my avatar, I will be like that if lobby is broken.

Remember to disable all those filters and that you're not downloading anything in the background.
Click here for a list of lobby alternatives/mirrors etc.
I just checked my lobby mirror and I noticed something:
At about 18:00 today there were 268 servers registered at http://lobby.soldat.pl:13073
90 minutes later it went down to 90 servers.
So far 200+ users were normal, so it seems like something happened to the lobby.

It seems odd, because the lobby webpage seems to be working (sort of), but 90% of the time I get nothing when requesting in Soldat.

maybe because its full all of the time...
second of all...instead of just rephrasing what the person before you said, suggest a solution . Does anyone have a server so we can get the info from 2 places instead of one?

Ive just noticed it, but the requests per day listed on the offical Soldat lobby list says 0! What has happened?

Yup, there are 257 servers now. (now backed up at http://ircquotes.blaffnet.de/lobby.php :)
What was the problem anyway?

I don't know, probably some hardware problems. Maybe the transatlantic internet cable broke.

Dedicated Server's for ver. 1.2.1, don't have ASE suport...snif...

Not alot of servers register with ASE ...which is a shame. I quite like it. I found it far better than lobby back in the days when we relied on ASE while lobby went through a down-patch.
